About Us

The Main Line Camera Club is made up of people all sharing a passion for the art of photography. Experience ranges from novice to professional. Artistic style, choice of subject matter, and the equipment we use (phones, digital cameras, film cameras) are as diverse as the members.

Upcoming Photo Themes

  • There are 3 themes yet to be determined.  If anyone has suggestions, please send an email with your ideas to our club secretary at mlcamera2008@gmail.com.
  1. Tracery—in architecture, bars, or ribs, used decoratively in windows or other openings; the term also applies to similar forms used in relief as wall decoration (sometimes called blind tracery) and hence figuratively, to any intricate line pattern
  2. Unbalanced
  3. Use bokeh to make your photo stand out, using a very shallow depth of field
  4. A splash of color: Use it to enhance specifics in your photo
  5. Portraits to create a story, (no snapshots, plan it in order to create the story)—likely for one of the socials—1 to 3 photos in a single, diptych or triptych arrangement
  6. Anything humorous—likely for one of the socials—one photo
  7. Farmers Markets as viewed through a creative perspective—Everyone shoots—1-3 photos (TBD)
